    error message

    The request has exceeded the allowable time limit Tag:
    I met the ColdFusion Error Message like the above.

    I like to make it like the follow.

    If the error is caused by exceeding the allowable time limit Tag, go to timeError.cfm page,
    If not, display the ColdFusion Error Message.

    The following would-be code doesn't work correctly, but it will show what I want.
    Code:
    would-be code

    <cftry>

    ... omitted ...

      <cfcatch>

      <cfif it is because of exceeding the allowable time limit Tag>
          <cflocation url='timeError.cfm'>
      <cfelse>
          display the ColdFusion Error Message
      </cfif>

       </cfcatch>
    </cftry>
    How can I make it <cfcatch> tag what I want?

    IT would involve using cfthrow in your cftry tags. I am just not sure how to do it. http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/htmldocs/help.html?content=Tags_t_05.html#2773591

    Code:
    <cftry>
         ....Code that takes a long time to run......

      <cfcatch>

      <cfif it is because of exceeding the allowable time limit Tag>
          <cflocation url='timeError.cfm'>
      <cfelse>
          display the ColdFusion Error Message
      </cfif>

       </cfcatch>
    </cftry>
    This should work just fine. Are you sure its not stopping somewhere else?
