    Unhappy Firefox resource hog issue!!

my firefox somehow turned into resource hog, consumed sometime 80%++ CPU time that makes page browsing hang for few seconds, i tried resolve the problem from google, like disable this plug-in, that add on......but the problem still persist.

also, after hours of running firefox, i found that the page file and memory usage increased gradually.

it has no such issue when i first install and run firefox, what is wrong now??

Keep an eye on the CPU usage as you visit a new site, are any of the sites you visit really heavy with lots of flash and/or javascript?

Try a new profile. Follow instructions here:

    http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles

Sometimes the profile can corrupt or become slow from use.

ok...i tried create new profile and start FF with the new profile, it really seem solved the issue and surfing become faster now!

but i need those passwords saved, plug-in's, add-on's, as well as auto fill of URL address, like type letter 's', the address bar list out every URL started with 's'......

it means that I can't switch to new profile.

so i must figure out a way to optimize my 'default' profile i used so far.

    how to optimize FF profile???

this remind me of WINDOWS itself, the longer u use, the slower it will be.

OK, we hv TuneUp Utilities 2009 for WINDOWS, how about FF???

now it doesn't hv intermittent hand and run much faster now.
