Parsing RSS Feeds

I'd like to bring in some RSS feed to display on my site. Can anyone point me to a good tool & tutorial on how to do this?

I found this one: http://www.cozmixng.org/~rwiki/?cmd=...%3ATutorial.en, but can't make heads or tails of where to put the actual code. Model, controller or just the view?

A year or two ago I used this tutorial to get RSS onto my site:

I can't vouch for how it works in current Rails, but worth a try maybe.
