Arrow Finding the '#xxxxxx' color from a graphic

    Hi --

I created a new logo recently and now want to match my page bgcolor to one of the colors used in the logo. Problem is I'm not sure what the exact code for the color is!

Is there a tool that will help me generate the "#xxxxx" code for the color of the graphic? PS - I'm using 1st Page 2000 to create the page.

    Thanks.

    Josh

Do you have access to Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro?

If oyu do then Photoshop at least has an eyedropper tool which can tell you the HEX color of a sample. If not, give Eyedropper a try. It runs in your system tray can sample any color, anywhere on the screen. It will tell you HEX values as well.

This is the utility I use. You can capture the hex color of anything on the screen with it.

Unbelievable program! Thanks JRF2k, exactly what I needed! 30 seconds to download, and 30 seconds to find my coveted code.

I just installed and used Matchhead then came back to reply and found the other replies. I will give them a try as well!

Great! Glad you found that useful. I know I have. It's skinable too. Take care and good luck!
