When did you start Twittering??

I have started twittering very late than others.. When did you start Twittering, & more importantly (I knw this is a silly thing to ask, but lemme do it anyway) WHY????

We started 2 months ago, had a few referrals from it but to be honest I am still scepital on twitter? How has anyone else found it?

October 07 I think. Had an account that followed like 10 people and I didn't update much, got bored one day and killed it off. Returned a few weeks later.

My current username is about 4 hours newer than armchaircritic's.

I started 2 months ago and it has not done much for me yet because the people that follow me are general people doing the same thing as me not customers. I think twitter would be great if you worked in selling social marketing or SEO to others.

I started using Twitter last fall. Its kinda fun following pro athletes and even cooler when they respond to stuff you write.

I signed up a few weeks ago. Hard to measure whether it will up my traffic at this stage. I was also curious as to whether Google followed the links Twitter allows members to place. Does anyone know?

6 months ago and I started cos everyone here was talking about Twitter!!! Peer pressure perhaps? ... although I became addicted to it for at least 4.5 months of that, have recently weened myself off it so I can get some actual work done :P

I only started about a month ago. It's definitely addictive, but I'm not sure how much actual benefit there is to it. I know twitter is supposed to be revolutionizing the way we do business, but I don't see it. Maybe I'm just not visionary.
