My mother! By herself! Without asking me! I can't tell you what a shock this is.

She's the person who thinks the blue E is the internet, and will use it no matter what.

This got me thinking. What did Google say to her to make her upgrade? I asked her, and she said she'd seen the message when Googling something. I visited Google in IE7 (what she was using), and saw this;

I wonder if it will work on IE 6 users....

Or how weak our populace is. Imagine if someone did a nasty little DNS poisoning or phising attack, faked a google home page, and had people install their evil credit card stealing build of firefox, for example.
