    mod_rewrite oddity? lol

On my site, I have a file /blog.php

When I access it, for some reason, the url is displaying as /blog.php/

there is a folder called /blog/

If I type /blog, /blog/ or /blog.php, i get redirected to the blog.php, with the address shown as /blog.php/

What I would like is to have the address shown as /blog/ in all scenarios.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
    Richard

    Rich,

First, WELCOME to SitePoint's Apache forum!

Now, I believe that your problems stems from an inappropriate setting for the Options MultiViews (which allows a filename to be used in the middle of a URI string). IMHO, that's an ugly thing to do so you can resolve your problem by STARTING your .htaccess file with
    Code:
    Options -MultiViews
