    What paradigm is PHP?

    You can use PHP either as a procedural or as an object oritented language.

    I'd call it procedural with O-O capabilities, but not O-O by nature...

    Heck, the majority of 'object oriented' code in PHP (judging by user-posted content in various places on the net) is, in fact, procedural.

    That's because:
    1. PHP didn't used to support OO.
    2. Most people don't know how to write OO properly.
