    Wordpress/ CSS a:active

I am so frustrated and have been trying to figure this out for about 4 hours now.

I am trying to create an active tab in for a wordpress theme... The code I use is
<?php wp_list_cats(); ?> so I am not really sure of how to complete this task. Here's an example

    Example1

Note: I am not using images, It is strictly CSS
VIDEOS<--That is the name of the page I am currently viewing)

    Home
    About
    Videos
    Photos

Can someone please help me get out of this "hole"

wp_list_cats() is a deprecated function, you should not be using it

wp_list_categories() is the current theme function, and this is its doc page:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_...ist_categories

How this works depends on whether you're talking about category pages or the entire blog. On category pages, you can use the li.current-cat class in your CSS to style the current category differently.
