    Question Tabular data and forms...

    What qualifies as being "tabular"? I know that the obvious example would be something like spreadsheet info or something pertaining to a calendar, but could form inputs like a username and password that have labels?

    The reason I'm asking is because I love to style my forms with just enough CSS to make them less than boring. Due to that, I've often found that placing it all in a table is much more balancing or Zen-like because it has less stress versus the CSS route where you're trying to mess with the floats, displays, etc...

    I don't think it can pass as table. If you want ability to style it, try using definition lists. Its not ideal, but I think its better than a table and its flexible enough to let you add style to form.

    Code:
    <form>
    <fieldset>
    <dl>
      <dt>Text on left:</dt>
      <dd>inputs</dd>
    </dl>
    <dl>
      <dt>Text on left:</dt>
      <dd>another input</dd>
    </dl>
    </fieldset>
    </form>

    Please don't cross-post the same question in multiple forums. It's a violation of the forum guidelines.
