Question How to get footer table to site at absolute page bottom (no css)

    Hello,

I have a webpage that I am trying to modify... it has a footer table, that needs to be located right at the very bottom of each page. (So no margin between table bottom and browser bottom, like there is a space now.)

Here's what I have to work with:

    http://amy.host-vault. com/~newtecht/index.html

Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

Unfortunately, I am not able to convert the site to use CSS, as they are not willing to pay for the time (and I'm not really sure how..)

For now, they just want to have the footer link table be right at the page bottom.

    Thanks!

The page has inline CSS and 2 external CSS files, NewTech.css and style.css

I don't know enough about CSS to do a "tables to css" conversion myself.. and unfortunatley I don't have the time to learn at the moment.

I just need to get that footer table to align to the page bottom...

At a later time, they say I can then figure out how to convert it to css-only design.

Unless you are willing to use JavaScript to "spoof" the footer to be fixed positioned to the base of the page you are out of luck. HTML is intended for structuring a page, not determining how it looks or is displayed.

I'm happy to use whatever method is needed to make the table sit at the bottom... how would I do it with javascript?

    Well this would work...

    http://www.hardcode.nl/subcategory_1/article_244.htm

However you would be infinately better off using CSS, even if you followed a tutorial on "sticky footers", if you search in google you should find some.
