How do I create an assembly?
I have a set of classes grouped into namespaces I want to make into an assembly for use in other applications?
- What kind of project type should I start before adding the class files?
- Once compiled, where do I move the binaries?
- How do I register it?

Use a class library project to create an assembly. We store each 3rd party assembly that a project uses in a lib directory with each project and is commited with the source code. As we use a lot of OSS projects from the trunk, we find this easier to do than globally registered assemblies.
