    Daily WTF Survey

If anyone is interested in taking the survey Daily WTF Survey.

But note that WTF is for Programmers. The survey is meant to get an idea of what we programmers think of the new technologies that abound.

It appears that you can list a survey. But I was wondering wether they pay poeple who take those surveys as there is no indication of that there. There are some survey sites who set up separate paid survey site, and that was the subject of my question.

No, SurveyMonkey is a site which allows individuals and businesses to set up surveys.

They don't pay whoever those individuals and businesses ask to take the surveys.

    Thank you Dan for info.
BTW I just read you signature. I don't understand the issue with signatures. Forums are for the community, why members won't benefit from posting with a backlink? Does it hurt the forum in anyway... I understand the issue with spam...spammers should be kicked when they are detected...But the majority are decent members and would be nice if they can have a backlink...You know is a though world out there to start.

You've only been here a few days, so maybe you haven't realized that many threads are full of irrelevant nonsense posted by SEO professionals with no interest in helping anyone, only in getting backlinks for their clients. Yes it is hurting the forum, filling it with garbage responses and making it harder to have real conversations.

So, signatures are not shown to Google anymore so that these people that are here *only* for the backlinks will leave.

I really understand this. However, I am a member of the official joomla forum and (you maybe aware of that) they have a nice policy. Is that members can report spam through a button and option to choose the reason while they still allow backlinks. I myself reported couple of scam posts that were all deleted.
Forums are about community, and the whole member community should protect the forum they love from spams.
BTW what I understand from spam posts are posts that either add no value to a thread or not related to the thread subject. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm here to learn and share what I learn. Backlinks are bonuses but there are other ways to get backlinks.
By the way, I used to visit the forum since dec08, I may as well registred but due to a hard drive damage I lost my passwords and emails as they were all stored in roboform.
    Nice chat
