    Unhappy Append custom information to IIS log without using serverside code

    Hi,

    I have a javascript code that request a .gif file from the server. but it also send back a query string to server.

    IIS log when the request for .gif is arrive.

    ok it's simple, but what i want to do is.., i want to append that query string to iis log file. i can do it with the code Request.AppendToLog("aaa");

    but i can't use .aspx page.

    So.., my question is , is there a way to append a .gif request query string to IIS log file.

    here is my javascript

    function SendToServer()
    {
    myImage=new Image(1,1);
    myImage.src='http://MyWebSite.com/MyImage.gif?Value="String To Log'';
    }

    =====

    I want to append the "String To Log" string to IIS log file.

    Hi, i solved my problem, So i answer my question ^^

    i just need to open IIS, Browse local computer, Browse WebSite, Right Click Default WebSite and properties, and

    Properties under Enable Logging , and then Extended properties Tab , check URI Query.

    That's it. Very Easy, lol
