    Creativity

    Hi everyone

I wonder if ya can help me. When designing web sites where does your
idea come from as crazy as it sounds. because when i try to design a web site in photoshop my mind goes blank and i cant decide on how the site should look. And am just wondering how do web designers and developers over come this situation.

I mean does it just come from the top of your head or do you look at other sites and go with wot they have put and go from there.

I start by evaluating the target audience and the brand message that is trying to be conveyed.

Right, ok. And from there does it come into mind and you start designing. or is there
more to the point. What is your structure to disigning a web site?

Then I wireframe the site, and design around that.

I look at the target audience, look at my competition, calculate what I need on the site, build a basic concept structure using a Sitemap (for page depth) and wireframe (for design features) then wrap it all together and create a prototype which evolves into a complete design.
