    Unhappy mysql problem

I've just downloaded mysql community server 5.1 and installed it.
while i try to run the command mysqld -nt --install, i get this:

    C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin>mysqld -nt --install
    090519 15:30:11 [Warning] Changed limits: max_open_files: 2048 max_connections:
    800 table_cache: 619
    C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin>

    what might be the problem?

What are the values for max_open_files, max_connections and table_cache in your my.cnf?

Also, this is off-topic; someone, please, move it and phpjunior learn to post in the right forum

That might be the problem. On windows there's a limit of maximum 2048 files open at any given time. The higher the value of table_cache and max_connections the more files MySQL server needs to open and you may be running out. Just decrease the numbers (do you really need 800 simultaneous connections?).
