What alternative syntax are you referring to?
17-29% of paid ad clicks are fraudulent. Get protected with Improvely, your online marketing dashboard.
→ Conversion tracking, click fraud detection, A/B testing and more.
To this one: http://www.php.net/manual/en/control...ive-syntax.php
if (): ... endif;
foreach: .... endforeach;
etc..

Not good, I'm using this syntax in my templates (it's easier to see <?php endforeach; ?> than <?php } ?>)

95% of wordpress themes use the longhand alternative syntax as it's default in the default theme.
I blog about making websites, technically.
Online image converter - all formats that you can think of.
I haven't heard about any such thing. You can see the planned changes for php 6.0 here:
http://wiki.php.net/todo/php60
I have to search for that article.
It came from a pretty reliable source...

AFAIK it was an error in documentation. Alternative syntax won't be removed.
