Question No Alternative Syntax in PHP 6

I heard it somewhere, but I couldn't find the article that there won't be an alternative syntax in PHP 6.

Is this true?

Not good, I'm using this syntax in my templates (it's easier to see <?php endforeach; ?> than <?php } ?>)

If it's anything like PHP4->5 was, you won't have to change anything for at least another 5-7 years.

PHP 6, then its widespread adoption by web hosts, is a *long* way off.

95% of wordpress themes use the longhand alternative syntax as it's default in the default theme.
I blog about making websites, technically.
Online image converter - all formats that you can think of.

I haven't heard about any such thing. You can see the planned changes for php 6.0 here:

AFAIK it was an error in documentation. Alternative syntax won't be removed.
