Why is there a space under the quote in IE but not FF?

Is there a way to delete one's questions? Like this one, which I just figured out?

The proper way to handle that is to post the answer you found for the benefit of the community. It's just good manners.

Anyone can build a usable website. It takes a graphic
designer to make it slow, confusing, and painful to use.

In this case, I doubt anyone is interested in the solution. I was examining the HTML by looking at the PHP file. Then I realized that it would be simpler to look at the actual HTML, by going to view>source. After doing that I saw the obvious problem, which was that I had something like <p><p style="...">tags and text</p>
