    Feedburner RSS Standard

I'm trying to develop my own RSS generater for the news on our web site. I've got the standard setup and you can view it here:

    http://pastebin.com/m5937456d

    It's only 2 functions.

However I'm trying to add my feed to feedburner and I can't get the pubDate to show up properly. And what is GUI used for? I understand it may be permalink? Then what is it used for if I put permaLink=false?

pubDate uses RFC822 so check what you're putting in there against it.

GUID is supposed to be a string that uniquely identifies the item. If permalink on, then it's the URL for the specific item. If permalink off, there are no rules for it except that the source be able to use it to uniquely identify the item.

RSS isn't a particularly difficult XML type. Its easy enough to output it with standard
    printf statements.

I've got my own class now to do it as I just bit the bullet and invested the time. Check my signature if you're interested in a tool to do it for you...
