    Two simple DOM questions ...

    First question: Where's the best, fully featured reference on the DOM on the web? I'm after something that shows the whole document tree and all possible attributes - what would be really nice is if it were in a expand/collapse tree view ...

    If I had that, then maybe second question would not need to be asked. But here goes ...

    How can I reference Meta data in a document? For example, I want to find out the keywords or description in a document.

    I would expect it to be somethin like:

    var myVar = document.meta['keywords'].content;

    or

    var myVar = document.meta['keywords'].value;

    Anyone got any ideas on this?

    That's fairly comprehensive.

    There is no reference for the META data - however i think you MIGHT be able to (in complaint browsers) use the document.getElementsByTagName('META') to try and trick it into giving you unrendered and hidden info (which is what the meta tags are)
