Can anyone else confirm that hostgator is down atm?
HG + all my HG sites seem offline.

Go to http://www.alertra.com and type the URL in the spot check box. That will tell you if the site is accessible from various locations around the world, so you don't have to ask people to check. It shows HG is indeed down.

For the HG site and client servers to all be down, it's probably a data center wide issue, like failure of some of their network connections.

I just tried as well and saw issues. This doesn't make my day any better...five sites down

Seems to be back up. Will teach me to have ALL of my sites on one server.

Yes, all my sites are back up now. Thank God I'm in Australia so it is 8.59am. Sorry to all the folks overseas, who lost sites in business hours

Look at the times on the posts. Less than 20 minutes.

I assume that is not guge uptime and I'm sure that all web masters keep their business sites in the good shape

There were some routing issues at ThePlanet. The resulting downtime was of about 25 minutes. Brent, Hostgator's owner, announced that if a customer's total downtime exceeded 45 minutes for the month (uptime of less than 99.9&#37, they will honor the uptime guarantee, so fill in a ticket if you're in that situation.
