Near the top of the page at https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat...ppendix-a.html there's a JavaScript navigation function ("Select a Country or Location") that I'd like to use on my website.

The form looks like this:

Code:
<form name="SelectCountry">
	   &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
        <select name="CountrySelect" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('parent', this, 0)">
		        <option>Select a Country or Location</option>
                <option value="../geos/xx.html">World</option>
                <option value="../geos/af.html">Afghanistan</option>
                <option value="../geos/ax.html">Akrotiri</option>
                <option value="../geos/al.html">Albania</option>
This is the JavaScript that drives it:

Code:
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_jumpMenu(targ,selObj,restore){ //v3.0
  eval(targ+".location='"+selObj.options[selObj.selectedIndex].value+"'");
  if (restore) selObj.selectedIndex=0;
}
//-->
</script>
But when I try to include that with my other JavaScripts, the whole page goes blank...

PHP Code:
echo '<script src="/js/jquery-1.3.1.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="/js/tablesorter/jquery.tablesorter.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
 $(document).ready(function()
  {
  $("#myTable, #myTable2").tablesorter({ widgets: [\'zebra\']} );

$("#triggerMS").click(function(){
 $("#menuMS").show();
 return false;
});
$("#menuMS").click( function(){
 $("#menuMS").hide();
 return true;
});

// etc.
I inserted it after this JavaScript, which I use for popup windows...

Code:
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
  window.open(theURL,winName,features);
}
//-->
</script>
Can someone show me how to insert the script or suggest an alternative? Since I'm using jQuery, I thought there might be a better way to do it.

Thanks.
