Does anyone know of/use a CGI whois script that is fully customizable for my web site's design and will finger all of the registrars out there and the basic top-level domains?
I checked cgi-resources.com, but I wanted your suggestions/opinions.
Let me know.

I may be a bit biased since I wrote the script, but I have a webtools script that includes whois and works with 117 top level domains and checks whois.crsnic.net for available domains in .com .net and .org and forwards the request to the appropriate registrar if the domain is taken. The webtools script was also a featured CGI script in the SitePoint Tribune back in the days when it was the Webmaster Tribune. The script is free and available at http://www.plebius.org/article/000085
