I update my website every morning with fresh content.
Sometimes, I don't (I need the rest )...
It seems that in days that I don't update my site, I get more visitors from Google and higher revenues from the ads...

I want for a vacation for 3 weeks last month, and saw that my website did better than ever in hits and revenues.

Is it me?

No, I think you are seeing things. It's probably just the fact that when at your computer you analyse these things way more than when you are 'taking time away'. Besides, if some posts are doing better a while after you post them it just means they are getting indexed and people are searching for your topics, which means- you're ahead of the game?! Well done!

I think the pages of your website is being indexed by popular search engines and your search engine ranking is improved. That is why your traffic is increasing.

You go to google then type check rage rank and there will be many sites that can tell you how your site is ranked by google or you can download the google toolbar to see how google ranks the pages of your site.
