May Photography Showcase: Renewal & Growth
This month's thread is about the theme renewal and growth. Spring has almost passed in the northern hemisphere, and while many parts of the world are not experiencing the same transition, I'm sure we've all got some pictures that can tie into this month's theme.
It can be the natural or man-made world, but either way show us what you got!

This is not exactly growth but definitely renewal. It is almost ironic!

Nice one, Thom
Is that a tree farm? One of those sustained forests?
Here's one I grabbed of a fern, which had just started to grow and unfold. I'm sure I'll post some more too later

One of my favorite places in the world, Blowing Rock in Western NC, USA:

And a pic of the beach where Mrs. Max and I got married, in Ocracoke, Eastern NC, USA:

(it may not be the exact spot where we got hitched, but close)
Neither of these pics are my work, but they're beautiful and close to my heart. Thanks for a great thread, Andy.

I have a photograph of a blooming impatiens flower. A very nice symbol of growth and renewal?

Only just spring in Seattle huh? I guess it's farther north than I thought. We've had full leafy spring for at least 5-6weeks now.
Great shot btw.
So everyone, any ideas for next months' thread ?
