    Cache Meta Tag Question

If I add a meta tag of "no-cache", will that prevent me from having to ask my clients to remove or delete their temporary internet files. I have changed some of the graphics on a site and renamed them the same name and the client is not seeing the new files. I do not want to change my file names nor do I want to ask the client to delete their temporary internet files.

Will adding this meta tag achieve this?

    Not necessarily.

I recommend this caching tutorial as a good introduction into the intricacies of web caching.

Would either of these work in this situation?
