IE7 loading priorities

Does anyone out there understand the loading hierarchy of the main thread and the background thread when IE7 loads a page?

The reason I ask is because an animated gif that we have will not render it's animation in IE7. With Firefox & Safari there is no problem.



We can do a conditional statement with - window.addEvent('domready', function() - and then put the code inside that function and it runs ok.

This is not the first time that I have had problems with animated gifs loading in IE7. What's the deal IE?????

Well, 1stly, IE is a joke. lol.

How is your dif displayed? As i have noticed in u have js dynamically load it, it does not animate. But if the image is already set and only hidden and shown with js, it will work just fine
