You can use MS Access with both ASP and PHP based sites on Windows NT servers.

If you have a Linux or Unix based server they would have to provide the equivalent to Microsoft's ODBC to be able to access the database.

For information on accessing an MS Access database using ASP go to www.asp101.com or www.4guysfromrolla.com/.

I don't know much about the PHP ODBC interface on Windows but I do know it exists.

Here is an article about accessing ODBC datasources from PHP. I knew it existed. Just remember, ODBC is an old technology dating back to the Windows 3.1 days. It is not the best or fastest means of connecting to a datasource anymore.
