    XML Schemas or DTDs

    When defining your xml document do you guys prefer to use an external DTD or a XML Schema?

    XML Schemas are more powerful than DTDs so probably yes, correct?

    Schemas all the way. When I bother to get that formal at least.

    Definitely schemas. I find doctypes hard to handle even with a good proprietary XML-editor like oXygen.
