Should I sell?

Hey,

I have a site and I'm not sure if I should sell it or not. Theres currently a $1,000 bid on it.

The site is HookedRides and can be found the the Established Section.

Not making any money from it because I can't seem to find anything better than adsense.

Should I sell it? Or keep it and hope I get more money after a few more months?

I have put over $800 into this project and a lot of hours. Any suggestions will help.

How many UV/month ? and How many PR about your site?

If you aren't making a lot of money and has little to no traffic, sell it. Simple as that. Building a site is sort of like a gamble. It can be worth while or it can be worth very little for the worth of your time and effort.

A thousand bucks for a site that is not making a dollar is pretty good to me, maybe have a chat with an internet marketing consultant to ask for way to monetize the site, check if you are losing money by selling it and make a final decision.

unless you can very clearly see a way to make good money from it within the next 6 months I would take the money. then take the experience you have learnt along the way with this project and then look to your next venture.

It all depends on how you feel on the subject. Do you still want to work on it? What are your realistic goals. If you feel like starting over then I would definitely sell it.

If someone is willing to part with $1000 for a site not making any money that sounds like a rather good deal to me... On the other hand maybe they just really like the name!

I would sell the site only if you didn't want to work on the project any longer. I would hire a professional to offer advice on how to make more money with the site.
