no business saviness what to do???

I know this sounds strange, or maybe its a bit more common then I realize but I am realizing I don't have the people skills to run my business. I have tons of friends, do well when the contract does come in but I dont really sell myself and screw up 90% of the chances I get.

Would you say that I should hire someone to do it, or hire someone to teach me how to do it?

I would (if I were you) have a go at reading some business blogs or magazines to see if there are areas you are making mistakes that can be rectified. Nobody's a genius at everything, so at least give it a go.

You could hire someone to sell for you, and watch them.

That way you still learn, and get new business in the process.

You know what, if you can find someone to be your own personal salesperson, you may get a lot more business that way. Then you might make a lot more and it will totally take care of the cost of hiring the salesperson. I think it's a great idea. You may want to check out the book 4 hour work week. It talks about this kind of thing. Or at least watch some videos talking about the book.
