I in the company I work with we bought a domain with them to host our promotion minisites and it has been good so far. They give you a lot of different tools to edit and manage your site. I particularly like the reports you can create, very complete and detailed. They also support PHP 5, Ruby and most of the relevant technologies you'll need.
I have been using them for a year and so far everything is great.

I got to use hostmonster for two days. I was account sitting for a friend. Hostmonster looks great but personally I like my cpanel and that is why I like hostgator more. Probably my next choice would be hostmonster as I saw they had their own panel thing and I don't remember much about how things really were but I would like to give it another try.
I have been using the Godaddy hosting.
Hostmonster is a good webhost but I prefer lunarpages or hostgator rather than HM.
The cpanel flexibility in hostgator and traffic bearing power in lunarpage is just awesome that lead ove hostmonster.

I suppose they are one of the biggest already (they have another name bluehost). Simple doing search for their domain names you can find a lot of information about them and their reviews
Hostgator, Lunarpages and Hostmonster all use cPanel. They probably all use their own customized templates, but the back end and most of the functionality will be the same.Probably my next choice would be hostmonster as I saw they had their own panel thing

Heard before that hostmonster is run by bluehost guys and that they are the same company. Is that true?

Yes, it's true. Hostmonster, Bluehost and Fastdomain are all owned by Matt Heaton, and provide essentially the same service.Heard before that hostmonster is run by bluehost guys and that they are the same company. Is that true?

I have used them for a while, and i must admit it was a great pleasure.
It gave some downtimes, but it never lasted for more than 2-3minutes.
Good Luck

I have been using Hostmonster for several sites in a shared account and have never had any problem.
the hostmonster is a bluehost subsidiary, their hosting plans have competitive power, but the hostmonster hasn't windows hosting
I have been using Hostmonster for 3 months and everything has been great. The best host I ever used.
I am very happy with them.
