    Joomla with sql server

    I'm using the old joomla version, 1.0. Does anybody knows how I can use Joomla with sql server? Any body ever made the code for it? Thanks.

    SQL Server? MS SQL Server you mean? Joomla does not have its own database wrapper as far as i know. You should develop it yourself.

    But if you are comfortable to migrate to 1.5 then the following thread should help you:

    mmmmmm interesting....

    as I remember joomla has its own data access layer class, so you should be able to do some modification to that class and make it compatible with MS SQL, but you have to be careful with the Joomla queries, check whether joomla using any MySQL specific queries, if so you may have to change those areas.
