What would you do if you

    Hi all,

I'd like to start a multi-user site that allows for multi-media posting by different members, and different ways of navigating based on how someone wants to access the data on site.

There's a site called lastdaysjournal that I found and its the closest site I found that does what I WISH i could set up:

I'm in the middle of giving myself a tutorial for Drupal and thinking about switching to wordpress. I'm a bit confused and lost now.

What would you do if you were me?

    Thank you.

Hi Ksisco, welcome to the forums,

Judging by the view-source of that site
    HTML Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="/register/misc/drupal.js"></script>
    they're using Drupal.

If you haven't done so already, I recommend you install your own localhost server (WAMP, XAMPP, EasyPHP, etc) and Drupal to experiment with it. It seems a bit complex at first, but after you get your hands dirty with it, it comes easier.

I'm not a professional designer/programmer and I've spent tha last day trying to learn Drupal on my own... I'm embarrassed to admit its too tough... I can tell that I'll run into too many snags to handle on my own.

Is there an equivalent or simpler multi-user blog program that an idiot like me can use?

    Why not just use NING?

    Sorry to be a retard.

WP is more user friendly than Drupal ,but will prefer Drupal ...
Must spend some time on the config of Drupal after installation,
    really need time for the learning curve of inside;
its templates/structure engine sounds some complicated indeed.
    keep on.
