    Best live chat icon placement?

    Where is the best place to put a live chat icon for a site? Should it be in a left/right column? In the header? etc...?
    I've also seen them outside the bounds of a site. For example if a site is 900px wide, and the resolution of my screen is at 1600 or whatever, the chat icon will be outside the bounds, just kind of floating...

    I'd put it right next to your phone number if it's global content, and on your contact us page as well.

    Thanks, I decided to put it up in the header so it's easily visible and accessible on each page of the site
