Senegal deserved to win imho... they played better and France were looking a little jaded and short of inspiration without Zidane...

Senegal were great , first time in the finals too. For anyone who watched it on ITV , its great to see Ron Atkinson saying with 5 mins left. I thought this might happen you know , yeah , yeah

I can't see Ireland beating Cameroon Tomorrow , Cameroon beat Senegal to win the African Nation Cup !, mind you doesnt mean a thing.

Still think Ireland will get through though , fingers crossed.

Cameroon 1 Ireland 0 . Just can't see Ireland scoring.

Getting more confident about England though. I think it might be easier than everyone thinks.

Being Irish, I can say that Roy Keane is a complete idiot. Serves him right and I hope that he is treated like a baby in the future. As for Ireland winning the world cup, anythings possible...except that.

Although, in 94 they did beat Brazil, who then won the world cup that year.

As for who's gonna win, i think it could be argentina or cameroon. USA haven't a change, England possibly, but unlikely. Possibly germany. Love brazil to win though.

It was Italy Ireland beat in 94. I would also like to add we were the only country to beat Italy that year in world cup.

According to the record books Brazil drew, then it went to penaltys

Ireland have Duff and Keane(Robbie) up front. They are brilliant players and not underated in any bit, just forgotten.

Portugal were put in as one of the favourites and I bet if the dutch were there to they would be in the same position. But because its small little Ireland no one will give them that chance.

Maybe I am being a little jingoistic but who cares

England expect their team to do well when they just about scraped out of their group with a very bad german team to compete with.

First half and Cameroon are leading already. 1-0 for them after some nice stuff from Eto'o finalised by Mboma. Ireland - average so far.

We'll see. I honestly don't think Ireland could score.

But great news for me, some exams that decide my life start this Wednesday and guess what thats during Irelands next match.

Hrm I could redo them next summer but then I have to take a whole 3 new subjects! Or I could do the exam this time round.
