    Wow this seems cool:
    <?php

    echo fruit()['a']; // apple

    function fruit () {
    return array('a' => 'apple', 'b' => 'banana');
    }
    ?>

    New updates as of which version?
    And are you updating your server, or thinking about whether it's worth it?
    And any specific area of updates, or generally all updates?

    Oh, I don't like that all.

    PHP Code:
    <?php
    function getFruit()
    {
        return array(

    'Apple' => new Apple()
        );
    }

    echo
    getFruit()['Apple']->getSugarLevel();
    ?>

    I'm with JREAM, I miss being able to use the syntax from my experience with javascript.

    I was a little disapointed to see that array definition shorthand was declined, I'd much rather use "[1,2,3]" than "array(1,2,3)"

    Thank goodness for lambda functions.
