I'm so glad IE8 fixed having to set display:inline on it.
Also I should note that IE8 has some pretty good CSS support...though it effing crashes every two minutes (I was stuck on it for an ENTIRE DAY!). Very slow browser..seems they cut back on user experience just to get some better web standard support..
Yea we don't give up because 9/10 some problem similar to this has been asked before (though gl looking through all the pages lol)

Just changed Firewalls and this one is causing a few slow connections. I don't know about you, but I spend more time f****** around with things than actually working on my computer at the moment. Computers remind me of the old cars I bought when I was young and broke(r), always fixing something to get it to work adequately.

Yea sitepoint has been mad slow for me today..taking forever just to reload the CSS forum..connection timeouts..it's weird..I wonder if they are doing any maintenannce or anything
