    Need 32 BIT

Is it possible to change from a 64 BIT operating system (which I currently have now) to a 32 BIT? I have some old CDs that I want to install on my computer, but they aren't compatible with a 64 BIT system.

You will A) Have to reinstall a 32bit OS. B) If the OS has an emulation mode and can run 32bit applications then do that C) Utilize a virtual machine. I'm going have to assume these old CDs you have are actually 16bit applications which is gone in 64bit systems.
    Logic without the fatal effects.

Yes, you can install a 32-bit OS on your computer. But you'll be limited to ~3GB of RAM again, which is the reason new computers don't come with 32-bit OSes.

A better alternative might be dual booting a 32-bit OS or running the CDs in a virtual machine. Microsoft Virtual PC is free.
