Html table design for accessiblity

I have some data to be displayed in the front end.

It has some 40 attributes in the backend.

In front end when the user comes to the page, user should view the data and also edit it. ( I will give inline edit for the table)

And which is best way to display the data inside a table. Does the reader reads the data from left to rigt if there are four caolumns or reads all the data vertically. Please see the attachement below

First format

attribute 1 : value1
attribute 2 : value2
attribute 3 : value3
attribute 4 : value4
attribute 5 : value5
attribute 6 : value6

and so on.... some 40 rows... below

Second format

attribute 1 : value1 attribute 4 : value4

attribute 2 : value2 attribute 5 : value5

attribute 3 : value3 attribute 6 : value6

and so on.... some 40 rows... below


Third format

attribute 1 : value1 attribute 2 : value2

attribute 3 : value3 attribute 4 : value4

attribute 5 : value5 attribute 6 : value6

Tables serialise from left to right, top to bottom. So the first option is probably the most accessible.
