    Remove Bottom Border

    Hi, please will you take a look at www.imbahotel.com and tell me how I remove the bottom border. Ideally I want the purple left line to stretch to the bottom of the page so that there is no white space. This is only noticeable on a resolution higher than 800 x 400. Please, any ideas on how to rectify this would be welcome

    Just add this into your stylesheet

    Code:
    body 	{
    	background-image: url(imagename.gif);
    	background-repeat: repeat-y;
    	background-position: left
    	}

    Hi, thanks for the suggestion but that code doesn't appear to work! The thing is the purple left border is not an image, it is a table with the following code:

    .border {border-right: thin solid #663366}

    Do you think there is another way to go about it?

    ahh, sorry -- just create an image called 'border.gif', it should just be about 10-15px high and should only be as wide as the left edge of the page to the end of the purple border, then modify that code so it has 'border.gif' in it and you should be set

    maybe you can create a long, narrow <div> with a purple background and use absolute positioning to fixate it to the bottom of the page.
