In my class right now, we are working with the end of integrals, and I am just stuck on something. I have two curves (4-x^2) and (2^x+1) on a plane. I know the intersection to the right of the Y-axis is (1,2), but I can't find the one to left for some reason.
I know you have to set the equations equal to each other, and then solve, but I am continuing to get stuck. I did (4-x^2 = 2^x+1) and tried to solve it, but I cannot find the answer. Any ideas on what to do, or how to solve it? I don't want a decimal for an answer.
