    Vague product info

Does anyone know what you get for the $20 listing? Will that put me on the page with all of the other websites or is going to cost me extra money?
I didn't see any details of anything you get in that $20, established web business package. Its lists a whole bunch of stuff at an additional cost.
So what do you get for your $20 investment? does that just register you and
all of the other services are additional charges or what?
These guys don't do a good job of defining what you get in this intitial package and because of it, I haven't been able to get myself to put any money into this program. I am anxious to list my website on here but I hate
these, fly-by-night. com companies the don't provide you with enough details or someone to talk about it, send me an email and we may get back to you.
I hate dealing with companies that won't let you talk to a live person for help, I avoid giving them my business because I think they are doing a dis-service to their customers. If you want to let me know what I get for that
$20 and your response is prompt, I may do business with you.

LOL, I know where you're coming from about explanations not being clear but I wouldn't call Sitepoint a fly-by-night company - a lot of serious sites get sold here.

For the $20 you get to list one site in the established website category. Your listing would be like the ones here. Click on one of the listings in there and you'll see the sale thread where that seller describes his site, his price etc.

There are extra charges if you want your listing to stand out, be bold etc. For $20 you get just to list. No guarantee of sale, no guarantee that you won't get idiots commenting in your "thread", no guarantee that the buyer is honest and will complete the sale. That's the chance you take. By my estimate, anywhere from 20% to 50% of sites listed here go on a successful completion.

    Hope that helped.

SitePoint has been around for about 11 years, and this is the largest website marketplace I know of outside eBay. It's no fly-by-night .com.

For $20 your website auction gets listed in the established websites category. It's just like eBay, but for websites.
17-29% of paid ad clicks are fraudulent. Get protected with Improvely, your online marketing dashboard.

I believe it is the largest outside ebay. But for non-template, non-startup, profit-making sites, I would bet this is larger than ebay.
