    Is this a premium domain?

I have the domain veebeo dot com and was wondering if it was a premium domain? I'm looking to sell so that's why I ask.

    It's a PR2 site, over a year old and is a 6L domain.

There has been much debate over what makes a name "premium". IMO, a premium domain is typically a generic multi-use dictionary word (like cars, music, money, blog) that gets natural type-in traffic, and that "owns" the mindshare when people typically think of a market. Veebeo doesn't really fit these characteristics.

Now if you're asking because you're wondering if you can sell it at the SP Marketplace under the "Premium" Domains auction, that's another thing.

Well you can always get your domain appraised to find out the real value of it.

    Thanks...

I was thinking of putting it up for sale here at sitepoint but wasn't sure whether or not to list it under the premium listings.

So far no one has seemed to have any interest in it at all so I assumed it wasn't a premium domain or even worth anything haha.

I think yes. Domain name you mentored is good one. If you would like to sell that you will have good profit from that
    Good luck

I've quickly checked the dictionary and can't find an entry for veebeo. How do you pronounce it? My attempt is "vee bee oh". I suppose it can be valuable if those three syllables could be strongly associated to a business or type of industry. Nothing comes to my mind.

That might be sort of PUN. When you look at the domain name you can decide for your own if you like that or not and I have to say that I do like that domain name

Thank you guys for your feedback.

Pronounced.. "vee bee oh". It could make a good shopping, deals, community site maybe? I just don't have the time to develop it like I thought I would.

I listed it in the marketplace so hopefully someone will want it!

I would suggest you get the domain appraised to get the true value of the domain

But whatever the "appraised" value is, that won't change the fact that this is not a premium domain, which was the original question.

It has potential as a fairly short brandable domain name but even in that category it is not that great. Sorry, IMO its not a premium domain name.

veebeo does not sound natural and it can not be a premium domain, in my opinion.

I think if a name is not natural to the market you want to sell it in it is not premium. e.g. teacups/com.

Anything else you will have to develop the domain to make it valuable e.g google/com, no one know what google was until it was developed.

    this is not premium domain

a premium domain is when people search for that particular keyword in google .

    for ex, cars/girls/ferrari/ etc.

I think it is not a premium domain, but that's just me
Anyhow, i must admit that you got a great domain there and you must try to develop it into a big website, basically a video site ?

    Smile

no its not a premium domain... double EE in the domain name and not much of a word that people will search in internet. so honestly its not a premium domain.

I do not think this is a premium domain name in the conventional sense. However, this could be a good name for an internet startup, which makes it a decent name. However, it will probably have typo issues with vebo.com
