    Gallery Set up

I have an site that is really more of an online Magazine. Right now a writer sumits the article and pictures in Word and we make a page out it, it never looks that great (here is an example http://kayakfishingmagazine.net/2009.../DiveFish.html) I would like a better way to make page more readable and easier to view pictures, maybe using a gallery program or script..Any ideas?

I tend to be a Wordpress zealot, but I think it would be perfectly suited for such an application.

You could allow writers to publish the final pages pictures and all. What they can do can be controlled by their privileges. See

I'm new here you'll need to replace hxxp with http

It looks interesting, would you say that it is more a blog format than magazine style?

Wordpress has an option that lets you set the number or posts that display on the front page.

If you set that to "1" that will make the most recent post your front page.

The alternative would be to create a "wordpress page" and designate it as the static "front page" which allows you to transform it into a website as opposed to a blog... with a little tweaking

Graffiti CMS is also a nice one that works well. You can even allow your written to upload and create his post then you can copy-proof and have it posted live. Less work for you.

I have to agree ... Wordpress would do a very good job with this site. I love wordpress and have been using it as a CMS for a long time now
