    apache problem

    THANK YOU, PROBLEM CURED!!

I have loaded and installed MySQL and PHP. According to the directions I needed to download Apache. SQL seems to be fine, PHP I'm not sure about yet and when I try to start apache, a screen opens up, an error message pops up and the screen closes before I can read the error message. I got enough of it to see Error 947 and something to do with PHP and sapi. Does anyone have a clue what my problem is. (Besides the fact that I may be past my prime for programming).

its nicer if you can put some other information like what version of apache, php and mysql that you use ? and what os that you use ...

eg : apache 1.3.x, php 4.0.6, mysql 2.23.34 etc etc.

i had some experience on installing php with apache 2.0.35 which is problematic with php 4.2.0 .. just try php 4.2.1 instead .. alot easier
