Advantages of Commercial CMS vs. Drupal?

Looking at the buzz these days, for management of larger/multiple sites, Drupal seems to be the strongest contender on the open source front. How does Drupal stack up against the big-name commercial CMS (Fatwire etc.)?

One answer could be that commercial CMS offerings provide dedicated support, but that really seems to be a non-issue to me - there are many companies that provide support for Drupal.

I will be playing with demos to assess performance and usability, but does anyone have any advice on what I should look for?

    Thanks!

At the end of the day, that's your biggest advantage of going with a commercial CMS: the support contract. If you're comfortable working with something like Drupal or Joomla then I would stick to those.

It's comparable to why a Fortune 500 company generally won't use PHP but relies on ASP or why they won't install Ubuntu workstations but spend a fortune for Vista. They are relying on the support contracts.
TAKE A WALK OUTSIDE YOUR MIND.
