Profile Design and Usability

Hi,

I am currently experimenting with my Social Networking site and the general design of the profiles on it. At the moment I am trying to figure out the best way to lay out the profile and all relevant items. I have been experimenting with something like below, but I am wondering how it can be improved from a design perspective (basic stuff) and a usability perspective for simplicity.



A similar design would then be applied throughout the site to maintain consistency.

PS. Please do not ask for a URL to the site, it's intentions, it's contents and or criticize the colour scheme as it is experimental.

PPS. Looking for useful comments please, not useless irrelevant ones similar to below. Thanks!
