I don't understand why Michael Jordan is not in the Hall of Fame yet....
Any basketball fan here who can explain?

He's not? That's weird, I could've sworn he was. Well, really it's only a matter of time. Perhaps they still expect him to return

He'll be eligible for the first time this year. According to the NAISMITH website, you have to be fully retired for five years before you're eligible.
Or knowing him, he may not have filed his retirement papers yetDave Maxwell - Manage Your Site Team Leader

I do know him really of course, who doesn't. His name was on some 'sneakers' that I had about 20 years ago.
His name comes up regularly when I have conversations with people about which sportsman has had the greatest success in their sport. My money is on Gretzsky, no one has ever stood so head and shoulders above their peers as he has. If you take all the goals he's scored out of his lifetime points total, he's still got more points than the next highest scorer, just on assists, and that's just one of his 62 NHL records. When he retired, every team in the league retired his number. Incredible.
It's true that I'm a heathen though. It's 530 people, but do you really get it?

Gee, and I thought it was due to his time trying to play professional baseball.
